This is an abbreviated version of the bid for Forty-two (42) NFPA 1981-2018 edition SCBA Assembly. Sealed bids will be received at the City of Thomasville, Purchasing Department by 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020. Bids must be at the physical location and stamped before the opening time in order to be considered. The Purchasing Department is located at 111 Victoria Place, Thomasville, Georgia 31792. Bids can also be mailed to P.O. Box 1540, Thomasville, Georgia 31799. If you wish to bid, please submit your sealed submittal on the blanks furnished, in a mailing container or envelope which is plainly marked on the outside with the notation “SEALED BID ENCLOSED – “(42) NFPA 1981-2018 edition SCBA assembly” due on November 16, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. EST. Oral, telegraphic, facsimile (fax) or email bids will not be accepted. No bid will be accepted after the opening time. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive minor irregularities, consider minor variations to specifications that are clearly detailed, and to accept the lowest or best bid combination which appears to be in the best interest of the City. Please make sure you check the website before returning your bid to the City of Thomasville Purchasing Department. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Purchasing Department at the appointed time. The bids will be considered by the City Council at a regularly scheduled council meeting within forty-five (45) days of the bid opening.
