Furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract. Indian Hill Road 290 Rehabilitation consists of approximately 13 miles of roadway reconditioning, log removal and brushing, surface drainage, culvert installation, limited aggregate placement, and slide repairs. Approximately 8 slide repair sites consisting of excavation, haul and waste of excess material, riprap (commercial source)placement, and embankment will be required. Slide repairs sites include work on sites up to 100 to 150 feet in length and construction of slopes of up to 40 to 50 feet in height. Slide repairs treat cutslope failures and fillslope failures.  Furnish all labor, supervision, material, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract.

Project is located on Road 290 accessing Indian Hill. This is a narrow, single lane road with areas of steep grades. It is located in the Selway drainage approximately 60 miles east of Grangeville Idaho. Project is reached from Grangeville by travelling via State Highways 13 and 12 to the junction of Road 223, Selway Road, near Lowell Idaho, then proceeding up Road 223 approximately 20 miles to the junction of Road 443, American River Selway. Proceed up Road 443 approximately 1.5 miles to Road 290, the beginning of the project. Selway Falls bridge at the junction of Road 223 and 443 has horizontal limitations on approaches that can limit large construction equipment.  Accessibility to the upper 11 miles of the project area is currently limited to ATV or horse travel due to the large landslide that occurred during the spring of 2011.  Please plan accordingly for site visits.

Estimated price range for this project is $250,000-$500,000.  The solicitation will be issued in August 2011 with implementation planned for the Summer/Fall of 2012. No formal pre-bid tour is planned at this time.
