R1-IMAT Nez Perce National Forest - Hoodoo Creek Road Decommissioning solicitation posted 7/3/12 closed 8/2/12 4pm PT.

This project is 100% Hubzone setaside.

This project consists of decommissioning approximately 12- 15 miles of road.  Treatment is complete recontouring with decompaction of roadway.  All fill material in draws will be removed and stream channels restored to natural grade and dimensions.  All disturbed areas will be seeded, native forbs and shrubs will be transplanted from areas adjacent to the road.  Grade control structures will be constructed in newly reconstructed stream channels.

The project is located southeast of Kooskia, ID.  From Kooskia travel south on Highway 13 for 11 miles to the junction of the Sally Ann Road.  Turn left and travel 3.5 miles east to Clearwater, ID.  Turn right on Country Road 284 and travel south for 3.5 miles to the junction Forest Road 1106,  Turn left and head northeast to the beginning of the project area.
