The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Eunice Kennedy Shriver, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business or HUBZone small businesses capable of providing NextSeq 550 sequencing instrument.

The NIDDK Genomics Core (hereafter, ‘the Core') provides next-generation sequencing (NGS) services for researchers across the entire institute. Increasing demand for NGS will soon exceed the capacity of the Core's existing sequencing instruments. Purchase of the NextSeq 550 will significantly increase our capacity and allow us to maintain mission-critical services on which the NIDDK research community relies.

NextSeq 550 Sequencing System Illumina NextSeq 550 Sequencing System is an integrated system for automated generation of DNA clonal clusters by bridge amplification, sequencing, primary analysis, and array scanning. System includes embedded touchscreen monitor and on-instrument computer, NextSeq Control Software, installation and training, and 12 months warranty (including parts and labor).

The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code 334516 with a size standard of 1000. All respondents are requested to identify their firm's size and type of business. Interested firms responding to this market survey must provide (a) capability statement demonstrating their experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Government's requirements for the above. The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, but not to exceed 15 pages, so that the Government can determine the experience and capability of your firm to provide the requirements above. Capability statement must be received at the email address identified in this synopsis by 11:00 A.M. local time on July 23, 2019.
