This Sources Sought (N0025319R0016) is reactivated as the Government is searching for industry interest in the following: (If your company has already responded to the initial notice, please send a confirmation e-mail stating that the submitted information is still valid) The Government is conducting market research to determine the level of interest in the following Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) supply items or commercial with minor modification. If a commercial item is not available, please state as much in your response. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) and award of a contract will not be made as a result of this questionnaire. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport (NUWC Keyport) is requesting assistance from industry in regards to the capabilities and interest of large and small business entities, in the preparation of an anticipated Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for a COTS based underwater communication system, manufactured in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and Performance Specification package attached to this notice. The procurement is expected to consist of a Receiver/Transmitter, Control Station, and Remote Station. The procurement will replace the legacy underwater communications system AN/WQC-2 / 2A (Gertrude). The new system should fit the current footprint as described in the attached Performance Specifications or reduce this footprint. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334511 with a small business size standard of 1,250. The Defense Priorities and Allocations system (DPAS) applicable assigned rating for this requirement will be DO-A7.
