This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and additional information included in this notice and the attached solicitation document. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1305M221QNCNM0125. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-05 (FAC 2021-06 was published on 10 June 2021 but changes have not been incorporated into the FAR as of the date of this notice).

All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation is one-hundred percent (100%) set aside for small businesses. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 with a size standard of 1,250 employees.

This procurement is for a new research vessel for the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary (CINMS). A list of line item numbers and items, quantities, units of measure, options, and a detailed description of requirements for the items to be acquired are included in the Statement of Work (SOW) section of the attached solicitation.
