WEST LINN-WILSONVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT NEW ATHEY CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL Bids due 2:00 pm, December 8, 2021 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE TO BIDDERS 1.01 SEALED BIDS A. Sealed Bids will be received by Amy Berger of West Linn-Wilsonville School District, at the District Operation Center located at 2755 SW Borland Rd, Tualatin OR 97062, until 2:00 local time, on December 8th; for the general construction of the New Athey Creek Middle School on Dollar Street. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time fixed for receipt of bids will be returned unopened. General Contractors will be required to submit a First-Tier Subcon tractor Disclosure within the timeframe indicated below. Project is estimated at $62M. 1.02 BIDDING DOCUMENTS A. Briefly, the work for this project shall be executed under a single general construction contract and includes Struc tural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, Landscaping and Technology disciplines and work for the construction of the New Athey Creek Middle School for the West Linn-Wilsonville School District. The contract will include all Off Site improve ments described in Volume 4 of the construction documents. B. The following General Contractors have been prequalified for this project: 1. Emerick Construction Company 2. Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company 3. Todd Construction Inc. 4. Triplett Wellman, Inc. 5. Turner Construction Company C. Bidding documents for the work are those prepared by the Architect, IBI Group Architects Inc.; 907 SW Harvey Milk Street; Portland, OR 97205 (503-226-6950). Bona fide Prequalified General Bidders, as indicated above, may obtain two (2) sets free of charge, on or after October 25, 2021, at Willamette Print and Blueprint; 3461 NW Yeon Ave., Portland, OR 97210; (503-223-5011). Plan holders will also have access to digital documents at Willamette Print and Blueprint at the same location. D. Should a bidder wish additional sets or parts of sets, the bidder may obtain them by paying the cost of the reproduction thereof, plus handling and mailing costs, with no refund for the addi tional sets or parts thereof. E. Bidders shall use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing Bids. Neither the School District nor the Architect assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. F. A one-time Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held for all general contractors intending to submit bids for the project on Thursday, October 28th beginning at 1:00PM, at Fields Bridge Park, 821 Willamette Falls Dr. West Linn, OR 97068. A tour of the Site will take place. The tour will include Architects and select Engineers and Consultants. 1.04 BID SECURITY A. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, bank cash ier's check, or surety bond executed by a state-licensed surety company, payable to West Linn-Wilsonville School District, in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. No interest will be paid on bid security. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, or thereafter, before award of the Contract, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days from the date of bid opening. Return or retention of bid security shall be subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.385. 1.05 DISCLOSURE FORM A. All contractors, pursuant to ORS 279C.370, are required to complete Document 00 43 50 First Tier Subcon tractor Disclosure Form. The completed form must be received at the District Operation Center Offices within 2 hours of the Bid Time of the same day. B. All bids must be received at District Operations Center prior to bid closing date and time shown above. C.
