Sealed Bids will be received by Amy Berger of West Linn-Wilsonville School District, at the District Operation Center located at 2755 SW Borland Rd, Tualatin OR 97062, until 2:00 local time, on December 8th; for the general construction of the New Athey Creek Middle School on Dollar Street. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time fixed for receipt of bids will be returned unopened. General Contractors will be required to submit a First-Tier Subcon tractor Disclosure within the timeframe indicated below. Project is estimated at $62M. 1.02 BIDDING DOCUMENTS A. Briefly, the work for this project shall be executed under a single general construction contract and includes Struc tural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, Landscaping and Technology disciplines and work for the construction of the New Athey Creek Middle School for the West Linn-Wilsonville School District. The contract will include all Off Site improve ments described in Volume 4 of the construction documents. B. The following General Contractors have been prequalified for this project: 1. A one-time Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held for all general contractors intending to submit bids for the project on Thursday, October 28th beginning at 1:00PM, at Fields Bridge Park, 821 Willamette Falls Dr. West Linn, OR 97068. A tour of the Site will take place. The tour will include Architects and select Engineers and Consultants. 1.04 BID SECURITY A. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, bank cash ier's check, or surety bond executed by a state-licensed surety company, payable to West Linn-Wilsonville School District, in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. No interest will be paid on bid security. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, or thereafter, before award of the Contract, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days from the date of bid opening. Return or retention of bid security shall be subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.385. 1.05 DISCLOSURE FORM A. All contractors, pursuant to ORS 279C.370, are required to complete Document 00 43 50 First Tier Subcon tractor Disclosure Form. The completed form must be received at the District Operation Center Offices within 2 hours of the Bid Time of the same day. B. All bids must be received at District Operations Center prior to bid closing date and time shown above. C.
