The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis to Packet Forensics, LLC, Virginia Beach, VA for the following items: (10) each - Packet Forensics M1 (G3) Network Appliance; (10) each 10Gbps x 2 SFP+line card with optics and H/W bypass; (10) each Tactical Features Software License GSA SIN 132-33; (10) each Internal Storage for M1 (G3) devices (solid state) and (10) each) Silver level Support (includes hardware and software maintenance. This equipment must be compatible with the current Packet Forensics equipment that the FBI currently owns. This requirement will be on a Firm Fixed Price One Time Buy. All incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 423430. Packet Forensics is the only source available to meet the FBI's requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses received and is at the discretion of the Government.
