NAVAIR, has awarded on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 8.4 to NetIQ Corporation, 1233 W. Loop South Street, Suite 810, Houston, TX 77027-9106.  The acquisition was for NetIQ Sentinel Enterprise Device Licenses with one year standard maintenance support to maintain a consistent architecture and streamlined support for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Information Technology/Cyber Security (IT/CS) Regional Data Center (RDC) to meet existing and new customer requirements.  This software was procured via the Department of Defense Enterprise Software Initiative.  All DoD organizations and programs are mandated to use DoD Enterprise Management Agreements, where they exist, to procure any software products, hardware and related services unless a waiver is granted.
