The project involves construction of a recycled water main, inclusive of, but not limited to, PVC piping, meters, air release valves, gate and butterfly valves, boxes, vaults, and related appurtenances, removal and salvaging of existing blow-offs, trench resurfacing, inclusive of aggregate base rock and asphalt concrete, and re-establishment of existing grades and drainage patterns. It shall be brought to the Contractors attention, that at the time of bidding, the City of Clovis does not possess all the necessary easements to complete this Project, and it is possible that the City may not have taken possession of all easements prior to expiration of the Project’s working days. Therefore, this Project shall be divided into two phases, with the Project being put on hold between phases for a period of time up to 6 months while the City of Clovis finalizes easement acquisition for pipeline construction. The second phase of construction shall be completed within the remaining allowable Contract Time. Bids must be filed with the City Clerk at the Clovis Civic Center prior to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at which time the City Clerk will open said bids.
