The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to make a Firm Fixed Price, sole source award to NEC Unified Solutions Inc., 6535 N. State Hwy. 161, Irving, TX 75039-2402 for NEC telephone equipment and services for the Miami, FL FBA location in support of PBGC ongoing operations and mission. The Contractor shall provide equipment and services from the attached list, which consist of NEC SV8300 Equipment, NEC SV8300 Services, NEC I Series phones, Power equipment and Power Services. The period of performance will be the date of the award through one year. NEC phones have been tested by PBGC's Office of Information Technology and are currently in use. Currently only NEC phones are compatible with PBGC systems. The phone equipment and services are required for the new Miami FBA office and must be compatible with the present phone system. NEC Unified is the only known source to provide this service to PBGC. See the attached Sole Source Justification document. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ), but a Notice of Intent. An RFQ will not be issued.
