The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to make a Firm Fixed Price, sole source award to NEC Unified Solutions Inc., 6535 N. State Hwy. 161, Irving, TX 75039-2402 for NEC Voice/Data Cabling and Data Rack services for the Miami, FL FBA location in support of PBGC ongoing operations and mission. The Contractor shall provide voice/data cabling and data/ladder installation services. The service will consist of installation of 250 cat5e plenum cables for data, 125 cat5e plenum cables for voice split into 2 jacks, 4 48 port panels, 100 pair cable from Dmark to LAN room terminated on 300 pair 110 blocks, 3 7 Data racks, 4 7' vertical wire managers and ladder rack located in the LAN room at the new Miami FBA site. The period of performance will be the date of the award through one year. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a). NEC Unified is the only known source to provide this service to PBGC. See the attached limited source justification document. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ), but a Notice of Intent. An RFQ will not be issued.
