The Library of Congress intends to contract on a sole source basis with the National Federation of the Blind for the NFB-NEWSLINE service. The NFB-NEWSLINE is a telephone based reading service for blind and disabled persons that is available nationally toll free 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, even while traveling away from home. NFB-NEWSLINE is provided to the Blind and Physically Handicapped U.S. residents at no cost to the individual.
