NBIS/PONTIS (SNBIBE) Bridge Safety Inspections for an estimated two hundred and eighty seven (287) Delaware County State Owned Bridges greater than 20 foot in length. Two biennial bridge inspections will be performed on each bridge over a four year period for a total of five hundred and seventy four (574) field bridge inspection reports. The chosen Consultant will also be called upon to perform Interim inspections on the Delaware County Inventory of Posted Bridges, Structurally Deficient Stone Arches, and Structurally Deficient Fracture Critical Bridges, on their required inspection intervals. Flood Inspections of Scour Critical Bridges will also be performed on an as needed basis. The selected firm will be familiar with the PONTIS/SNBIBE Element method of inspection, electronic reporting, as well as the Department’s BMS2 Bridge Management System. The selected Consultant will be responsible for overseeing the Sub Consultant(s) work quality.
