Solicitation N0042121Q0429 is issued as a sole source procurement. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis for Jacobs Technology Inc. for testing of SATCOM UHF diplexer as listed, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.

Offeror’s must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submissionof an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov.

This notice is intent to sole source with Jacob Technology Inc.   Jacobs Technology Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the requested SATCOM UHF diplexer that is being tested. The NSW requires a diplexer compatible with the Combatant Craft integrated tactical radios, cabling, equipment mounts, craft hull mounting pedestals, and UHF SATCOM antenna. The Jacobs Technology Inc. diplexer is the only diplexer compatible with the Combatant Craft, it is the only SATCOM UHF diplexer capable of performing simultaneous transmit and receive functionality with 75 watts power while using a single antenna. The Combatant Craft program integrated the procured diplexer in the Sea Air Land Insertion, Observation and Neutralization II craft in 2019 to conduct SATCOM communications, and to complete system design reviews and user evaluations.
