NOTICE: Solicitation is being re-opened by Amendment 0002. Closing date is now 1/26, 2017.

The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 15 NSNs with various spare parts. These spare parts support the Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a three-year base period and two option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Applicable NAICS is 336340 and Small Business Size Standard is 1250. Solicitation will be unrestricted with other than full and open competition. The solicitation will be available on November 22, 2016, at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery as described in the solicitation.

Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.

One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.

This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).
