ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The CITY OF CORSICANA is soliciting sealed bids at the CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE, 200 North 12th Street, Corsicana, Texas 75110 for the following project: Navarro Mills Water Treatment Plant Renovations Bids must be received at Corsicana City Hall by 10:00 am on Monday, December 14, 2020. Bids will be publicly opened via teleconference at 10:00 am. Bids will also be accepted by email at [email protected]. All bidders shall provide an email address for the purpose of receiving notification of the bid opening teleconference. Late bids will not be accepted. The contract documents may be viewed at the City Hall or at Childress Engineers, 211 N. Ridgeway Drive, Cleburne, Texas. Copies of the contract documents may be obtained at the office of Childress Engineers upon payment for the plan purchase of $50.00 for each set. No refund will be made. This job includes: the removal and replacement of the filter media in six filters, the replacement of a 700 horsepower high service horizontal pump with an eddy current clutch drive, the installation of two (2) vertical turbine pumps on the existing clearwells with VFD’s for backwash pumping, miscellaneous yard piping, flowmeter replacement, filter control replacement, switchgear and MCC section replacement, and demolition of the existing steel elevated backwash tank.
