Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT) has issued a Request for Innovative Participation (RFIP) in regards to NATO Innovation Challenge 2020/Fall (IC-20/Fall).
HQ SACT has since 2017 conducted Innovation Challenges; these are informative and exploratory events focused mainly at the application of new technologies. The collaborative interaction sought for IC-20/Fall is focused on presenting and demonstrating solutions to establish and strengthen decision-makers' and operators’ trust in autonomous systems. RFIP respondents should be willing to share their knowledge, expertise, and products/solutions with NATO and national representatives participating in IC-20/Fall.
The RFIP is attached. The due date for submission of the requested information is 17 November 2020. Do NOT submit your RFIP response to the Department of Commerce. Instructions for submitting your RFIP response are provided in the RFIP.
Up to 10 solutions will be selected from amongst the responses submitted. The companies submitting the selected solutions will be invited to participate in the IC-20/Fall Pitch Day on December 10, 2020. Participation in the Pitch Day is exclusively online.
The nature of this event will be discovery only and is not intended to solicit contracts. HQ SACT has not made a commitment to procure any of the products/solutions described in the RFIP nor to provide reimbursement for any of the costs incurred by participation in the RFIP.
