The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center located in SeaTac, Washington intends to issue a solicitation for Native American Spiritual Leader. This requirement has been established to support comprehensive religious programs within the facility's Religious Services Department. All services will be accomplished to support the Religious Service Department's religious program goals and objectives. The work schedule will normally consist of three (3) sessions per week with a maximum of six (6) sessions per week, a session being defined as one hour. The particular day and hours of work will be Tuesdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, but as the needs of the institution may change, days and times may vary.

This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the service is 813110, the small business size standard is $7.5 million. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Any contractor or individual interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/. Each offeror is required to complete their representations and certifications at the SAM website. This solicitation shall result in a firm-fixed indefinite delivery / requirements type contract with the use of options years. The intended contract shall be for a base period of twelve months from the effective date of award, with four - 12 month option year renewal periods based on continued need. The award will be made to the responsible offer that conforms to each aspect of the solicitation, and which provides the best value to the government.

The solicitation is expected to be available on or after August 14, 2017, with a predicted due date of September 15, 2017, 1:00PM Pacific Time. The cutoff date for any questions will be 7 days prior to the due date.
