This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Quotes, nor does it restrict the USDA FS to an ultimate acquisition approach. No contract will be awarded from this announcement and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by USDA FS to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with the purchase of maintenance and repair for the aforementioned services. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811213 - Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the Size Standard is $11,000,000.00.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE:
Provide preventative maintenance and repair services to portable and mobile radios. Maintenance and repair includes annual preventative maintenance, battery and antenna replacements, and remote speaker microphones. Please see the attached specifications for details on the system for which the services are needed for.

This requirement is for a base plus four option years.

Firms responding to this sources sought notice are also requested to provide the USDA FS with capability statements, which need to include at a minimum:
-Company Name
-Point of Contact Name and Number
-Registered in System for Award Management (SAM)
-Business Status (8(a), Small, Hubzone, Woman-owned, etc) under NAICS 811213
-Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code
