The USDA Forest Service will be hosting a virtual Industry Day for the National On-Demand Long-Term Fire Retardant (LTFR) program. The purpose of this virtual event is to provide interested parties, suppliers and sub-contractors relevant information on the upcoming, planned competitive solicitation for the follow-on FOB Origin LTFR sole source contract and the Mobile Retardant Bases Blanket Purchase Agreements. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for interested parties to ask questions of the program team.
This virtual event will held on Thursday, 24 June 2021 at 1400 (Mountain Time) via Microsoft Teams. Participants planning to attend must email the Contracting Officer, Larry Robillard at [email protected] to request a Microsoft Teams link to attend virtually, or request a conference telephone number to attend by telephone only.
The event is free and open to all industry regardless of NAICS classification or size status. Key retardant program leadership and personnel will be present. Procurement/Source Selection sensitive information will not be discussed during the event. Attendees must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. This announcement should not be construed as a contract, Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the US Government. The US Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this virtual event and will not be liable for payment of any expenses incurred as a result of attending this event.
All information discussed during the virtual event will be considered public information and interested parties are cautioned not to share proprietary or competition sensitive information. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in a response and all information received will be protected and handled accordingly.
