NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) plans to issue a DRAFT Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Support for Atmospheric, Modeling and Data Assimilation (SAMDA II) procurement.  This requirement includes support to the atmospheric science, model and data assimilation research conducted by Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) scientists in the Earth Science Division (Code 610).  The contract will support the full range of research and development activities of the Earth Sciences Division-Atmospheres (Code 610AT) and of the Global Modeling and Assimilation Office (GMAO, Code 610.1) at GSFC, and the operational activities of the GMAO at GSFC.

NASA is not requesting proposals at this time. NASA anticipates issuing a Draft RFP for a Small Business Set-Aside competition which will result in a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award contract. The anticipated release date of Draft RFP Solicitation 80GSFC21R0021 is early May 2021 with comments due on or about mid-May, 2021.  The Government anticipates a 45 day phase-in transition period.

The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541715 and 1250 employees instead of 1000 employees, respectively.
