The Defense Sciences Office (DSO) of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is hosting a workshop, Narrative Networks (N2): Modeling, Simulating and Sensing Narrative Influence. This workshop complements previous meetings which explored improved analytic techniques for understanding narratives and the neurobiological processes responsible for their psychological effects. We hope quantitative and computational social scientists, modelers, simulation experts, political scientists, psychologists, cognitive neuroscientists, geographical remote sensing experts, chemical sensor experts, representatives from academia and industry, and other interested parties will join us for this event.
