RFQ:  NAMA-11-Q-0061

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase and delivery of servers and software in support of the Federal Record Centers.  The Contractor will be responsible for delivering all equipment (Brand Name or Equal) to the National Archives facility located at 8601 Adelphi Dr. College Park, Md.  The order awarded as a result of this RFQ will be a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order.  The award will be made to the Offeror providing the lowest cost found to be technically acceptable.  Delivery of the equipments is expected within 30-days (estimated) after Receipt of Order. The requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423430 (Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers) and the Small Business Size Standard is 100-employees.  All responsible small business sources may submit a quote that will be considered by NARA. Copies of the RFQ, which will be available on or about July 18, 2011, may be obtained through the Federal Business Opportunities web site at www.fedbizopps.gov. This RFQ is expected to close Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 12:00 pm EST.  It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. All Contractors interested in receiving notification of updates/amendments to the solicitation posted on the EPS are urged to enroll on the web site mailing list for this acquisition. Those Contractors enrolled will be notified automatically of any changes made to the RFQ through their e-mail addresses. No telephone or fax RFQ request will be accepted.  Question concerning this request for quotation shall be forwarded to the Contracting Officer, Mr. Damon Nevils; all questions should be in be in written/type form to be answered; no telephone questions will be answered.
