The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Division of Acquisition Policy (DAP), Window Rock, Arizona, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Painted Desert Demonstration Projects, Inc. dba Star School for consultant services for the Navajo Coordinated Approaches to School Health (NCASH) Project. Estimated contract award to be $87,500.00. NAICS 611110, Elementary and Secondary School applies. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contractor will provide consultant services for the NCASH and Academic Success in accordance with the Diabetes Prevention Youth Healthy Weight Project Plan. The government believes that Painted Desert Demonstration Projects, Inc. dba Star School is the only authorized provider capable of providing consultant services at a fair and reasonable price.

This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated services may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than 3:00pm MDT on June 28, 2019. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
