NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Adaptive Digital Systems, Inc. (ADS) for the procurement of a Nano - Pendant under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A). BIA's primary goal(s) for the contractor is to provide a covert Nano Pendant recorder for the Division of Drug Enforcement (DDE). ADS has previously provided DDE with sensitive surveillance devices. This product is sole sourced and manufactured only by ADS and contains proprietary secure software that ensures the video and recording cannot be altered. The requested device¿s video and recording can only be viewed and downloaded for ADS software which DDE has previously acquired. All DDE sensitive surveillance devices only operate using ADS software due to its secure hardware and software, change of vendor may hinder drug investigations or compromise security of drug agents. The anticipated award date is 31 AUGUST 2017. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334310.
