Sealed bids for the Nampa Civic Center Lighting Upgrade Project will be received by the City of Nampa, Facilities Development office, 500 12th Avenue South, Nampa, Idaho 83651 until 2:00 P.M prevailing local time, Thursday, June 13, 2024. Bids will be publicly opened. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts of work not specifically mentioned which are necessary to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. Any bid received by the City of Nampa may not be withdrawn after the time set for bid due date. A pre-bid conference and project walk-through will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 2:00 PM. The meeting will be at the project site 311 3rd Street South, Nampa, Idaho 83651. Questions to the bid and all clarifications regarding the bid will be considered only if they are submitted in writing and received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. All questions and clarifications will be addressed in a written addendum and issued by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Nampa should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal. Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required within three (3) days after signing the Agreement Between Owner and Contractor. This bond shall be furnished and paid for by the Contractor and shall remain in full force one (1) year after the date of substantial completion. All Contractors submitting bids are required to have a valid Idaho Public Works Contractors License and to include the license number on the Bid Form. Before a contract will be awarded for work contemplated herein, the OWNER will conduct such investigation as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low bidder to perform the size and type of work specified under this Contract. Upon request, the bidder shall submit information deemed necessary by the OWNER to evaluate the bidder’s qualifications. The City of Nampa reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Nampa.
