The Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base has a requirement for NAF WIFI. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a request for a quote (RFQ) The NAICS code is 334210. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside.

Requirement Description: The Edwards Outdoor Recreation (ODR) FamCamp requests several

Wireless access point (AP) installations at Edwards FamCamp.

Scope of Work

The contractor will provide the following:

 Will prepare onsite survey to determine final count of Access Points and determine trenching requirements

 Provide mounting poles and electrical service where mounting options do not currently exist

 Utilize current Spectrum modem providing 300mbs

 Will furnish personnel, tools, equipment, materials and labor required for performing all work associated with the outdoor Access Point installation and connection

 Test the WiFi after completion to ensure reliability and connectivity

 Ensure wireless internet and Wi-Fi services for this installation meet all applicable

telecommunication infrastructure and safety standards

 Contractor will install outdoor WiFi access points throughout FamCamp. Spectrum modem currently installed in common area located in the center of FamCamp and provides 300mbs. AP’s must be able to penetrate through varying RV interiors

All work activities and all site visits will be coordinated with the ODR Director. Work or

maintenance will be performed during normal working hours Monday thru Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm.
