This notice is issued to advise of the governments intent to increase the ceiling on contract N65236-05-D-5152 with iDirect Technologies, Herndon, VA. The ceiling increase is estimated at $4,927,411.00. This increase is for the purchase of six idirect Model HB-51F VSAT Hub Router Systems (basic) with a two-year extended warranty plus the purchase of critical spares for twelve systems. These systems must be compatible and interface with existing iDirect systems. IDirect is the only known source that can provide these Hub Router Systems with a Deterministic-Time Division Multiple Access (D-TDMA) scheme, which provides a higher data rate of at least 9 MBps per channel and have the capability of handling at least 20 channels. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This increase in ceiling will be issued to satisfy the agency’s needs.
