N62306-09-T-4002 The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Technical Training Aids in Birmingham, AL under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c). This is a requirement for the purchase of Dimension SST (Elite) 768 Printer. This printer is proprietary to Tehnical Training Aids as the company is the only authorized reseller of the Dimension SST Elite Printer and Dimension obtains the patent for the printer. This printer remains as the only printer capable for use in small, lightweight electromechanical systems. This printer has proprietary printing material that is suitable only for visual refernce models not for use in production-level systems. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be firm fixed-price.
