The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to enter into Multiple Award Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery contract (MAC IDIQ) for submarine repair efforts. This announcement is restricted to nuclear-qualified shipyards; therefore, the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to place MAC IDIQs with Electric Boat Corporation, A General Dynamics Company, located at 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340-4989, and Huntington Ingalls Incorporated-Newport News Shipbuilding (HII-NNS), located at 4101 Washington Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607-2770, and issue orders from time of award through 30 September 2021. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other types of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed MAC IDIQs are for submarine repair efforts for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.303. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
