FY21 JELA - UPDATE FIRE SYSTEM - ACC
The National Park Service, Southeast Region, West Major Acquisition Buying Office, hereby issues a combined synopsis/solicitation for a requirement for the Natchez Trace Parkway.
It is the intent of this contract to replace all antiquated components and make improvements to the current fire system equipment within the ACC unit building and to meet all applicable fire codes and standards. This includes replacement of all fire alarm control units, supervisory switches, smoke detectors, heat detectors, duct detectors, manual pull stations, tamper switches, water flow switches, audible and visual alarms with new digitally addressable equipment at ACC. This also includes any additional equipment required to meet current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. The new digitally addressable equipment must also be compatible to most external monitoring services companies. The new digitally addressable equipment shall not be proprietary in nature, where it would require future servicing by any one specific company. Please see the Statement of Work for more details.

PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $30,000-45,000
Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages for LaFayette, LA will apply.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561621. It is the contractor¿s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This Acquisition shall result in award of a firm fixed price contract expected to be awarded by mid September 2021. Evaluation factors: The selection will be made by evaluating proposals based on cost, technical approach and relevant experience. See clause section for weighting of these three evaluation factors.
