Notice of Intent: The VAHMCS, Baltimore, MD, VISN 5, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Allied Communication for this Direct Installation Requirement for the Baltimore Medical Media Department at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Baltimore, MD 21201. NAICS Code 423430 applies and the Size Standard is $15 million. The Period of Performance will be for a base of seven (4) months estimated from the date of contract award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or a request for offerors. No solicitation package is available at this time. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice (VA-245-09-RP-0263) must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
