1. This RFB is to purchase a Mycobacterial Detection System by establishing a Master Agreement contract. The MA shall be for one year and include four (4) one-year renewal options. Instrument MUST BE an automated system for the detection of mycobacteria from liquid media at 35-37C. 2. Tube style media is beneficial to maximize current space restrictions. 5. Plastic media vessels strongly preferred to maximize safety of scientists if media dropped. 6. The system MUST use no sharps to minimize safety risks to scientists. 7. Culture results SHALL BE provided in both numerical units and with positive/negative interpretation. 8. System MUST BE capable of performing drug susceptibility testing with result interpretation provided by system. 9. 1 Year Service Agreement SHALL BE included in Bid Offer 10.
