The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price (FFP) order, under previously awarded Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N68335-13-G-0002, on a non-competitive basis with the Canadian Commercial Corporation50 O'CONNOR ST, SUITE 1100, OTTAWA K1A 0S6 L.P., 7115 for the procurement of Wescam MX 15 turret parts and spares for Wescam turret systems for the Naval Air Systems Command 4.5X Special Surveillance Programs (SSP). Additionally, several repairs will be provided on existing units damaged OCONUS. The Wescam Turrets, and associated parts and spares are being procured to maintain PGSS FOBs. The technology being fielded as part of the PGSS is specifically tailored to protect US and Coalition forces by providing the ability to provide surveillance and locate and detect hostile forces that are approaching in the distance, giving US Forces ample time for situation awareness and an effective response.
All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
