ERDC-CRREL intends to purchase a FLIR Systems, Inc. mid-wave infrared (MWIR) camera (Mfr PN 29440-201) The following performance specification are required in order to capture precision data needed for vehicle signature management and other infrared signal propagation studies:

a. Capable of measuring within the mid-wave bandwidth, 3-5µm.
b. Cooled sensor with Indium Antimonide (InSb)
c. Programmable frame rate: up to 480Hz
d. NetD (sensitivity) < 20 mK
e. Weight <= 5 lbs. (2.2 kg), without lens
f. Measurement temperature range of -20°C to 350°C
g. Variable lens capability
h. Standard video interface with plug-and-play ability
i. Compatible with 3rd party software, such as Matlab©.

The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333314, which has a size standard of 500 employees.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Any interested party that believes they can fulfill this requirement should submit a capability statement to be reviewed. All submissions will be considered, however there is no guarantee that submissions in response to this notice will in any way alter the Government's acquisition strategy.
