The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Chicago Soft 1820 E. Edgewood Drive #103, Lakeland, FL 33803 for the renewal of maintenance for MVS/QuickRef Software. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-04, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 511210 with a business size standard of $41,500,000. A quote is being requested under solicitation no. DJF-21-0100-PR-0001265. This will be a fixed price contract for 12 months. Based on FBI market research, it has been determined that Chicago Soft is the only source to meet the FBI requirement and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Chicago Soft does not have any authorized resellers capable of providing maintenance for MVS/QuickRef Software. The proposed contract action is for software maintenance for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of TLE 41,usc 3304 (a)(1). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
