Des Moines Public School (District) has issued a Request for Interest for multiple artist to create a mural a one of our schools. Things we need are- A narrative and mural design that was created based upon the building’s mural proposal. · Identification of the medium, timeline for completion and approximate dimensions for the proposed mural based upon the building’s mural proposal request. · Images and reviews of previously completed works that describe the size, materials, cost and locations of other public works. · Artist resume to include a brief one-page summary of work, including experience with murals and general statement of work. · Artworks samples of murals and other works or projects (no more than 5 images). · A plan for involving students in the mural process (examples: brainstorming ideas around a topic, students provide sketches, students help paint mural, etc.)
