City of Mabton Notice to Consultants For Municipal Engineering Services The City of Mabton is requesting statements of qualifications from qualified firms interested in providing professional municipal engineering services for the City of Mabton. Projects may include providing planning, design, and construction administration services for water distribution, source, storage, and treatment systems; sewer collection and treatment systems; transportation projects including roads, sidewalks, bike paths, and trails; park improvements; land surveying; structural engineering; and other municipal engineering needs as they arise. Other projects may be funded by Washington State Community Development Block Grant Program with federal funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Ecology State Revolving Fund and Centennial Clean Water Fund, Department of Health Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, USDA Rural Development, Transportation Improvement Board, Washington State Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, and other funding agencies. Interested firms shall note that the City will base their selection on firms that specialize in providing municipal engineering services for small communities. Submittals should include the following information: firm name and contact information. Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria: 1) key personnel, 2) familiarity with relevant codes and standards, 4) knowledge of funding agency requirements, 4) firm experience with municipal engineering services, 5) specific project experience relative to the City’s needs, 6) office proximity to the City, and 7) knowledge of, and past relationship with, the City of Mabton/references. Statement of Qualifications shall not exceed 30 double-sided pages (including resumes, excluding cover letter). More than one qualified firm may be selected to provide engineering services, as best services the interests of the City. Submit four copies of the firm’s Statement of Qualifications to Sylvia Sanchez, City Clerk, City of Mabton, 305 North Main Street, Mabton, WA 98935. Submittals are due by July 2, not later than 4:00 PM. No submittals will be accepted after that date and time.
