The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) intends to award a sole source contract to Illumina, Inc. located in San Diego, CA for multiple TruSeq kits. This requirement is for four (4) of the FC-121-1001 TruSeq DNA Sample Prep Kits-Set A, four (4) of the FC-121-1002 TruSeq DNA Sample Prep Kits-Set B, two (2) of the PE-400-2002 Multiplesing Sequencing Primer and Phix Control Kits v2.0, four (4) of the PE-401-3001 TruSeq PE Cluster Kits v3, and six (6) of the FC-401-3001 TruSeq SBS Kits v3. The reagents required for DNA sequence analysis listed above are required for DNA sequence analysis on the Illumina HiSeq DNA Sequencer that was recently purchased by the USDA, ARS, BARC and is located at BARC. These are the only sequencing reagents that can be used to prepare DNA for sequencing on the Illumina HiSeq DNA Sequencer and Illumina, Inc. is the only source that these reagents can be purchased from.
