1.  When was last time this area was masticated/mulched?

•·         It has never been mulched, each stand was logged different years ranging from 2-10 years. During logging processes, most vegetation gets knocked down. Most stands have been managed with fire for last 5-10 years.

2. When do you anticipate this solicitation to be awarded?

•·         Once proposals have been received and evaluated the award will be made within 2 weeks of the solicitation close date.

3. How will the payment be handled with this contract?

•·         The government usually does not give payment until work has been completed. However, due to the nature of this service, the contractor will be able to invoice when the work is 50% completed, and then once again when work is 100% complete.
