This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-11-Q-0012 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-46, Defense Circular Number 20100927 and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2010-1001. This procurement is being issued as a total small business set aside under NAICS code 488999.

All materials, labor, tools, and transportation needed to furnish the following:

1001- 6 MO - Snow Removal Service for the Air Force Repeater site on Mt. Lemmon. Work will be seasonal. Period of Performance for the First Option is 1 November 2011 through 30 April 2012. (See Statement of Work and Map)

2001- 6 MO - Snow Removal Service for the Air Force Repeater site on Mt. Lemmon. Work will be seasonal. Period of Performance for the Second Option is 1 November 2012 through 30 April 2013. (See Statement of Work and Map)

Lemmon, AZ 85619; The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price and technical acceptance. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services-The Government may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 10 calendar days, applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract-(a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 30 days; provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 60 days before the contract expires.
