The 436th Contracting Squadron at Dover, AFB hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to Katadyn Desalinator, LLC, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The government will acquire the services using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811310 with a size standard of $8.0M. The purpose of this requirement is to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items and services necessary to perform maintenance on the Manual Reverse Osmosis Desalinators (MROD). This notice is not a formal solicitation. This is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of quotation or offers received in response to this notice.

The contractor needs to be registered in the DoD System for Award Management (SAM). Register via the SAM website https://www.sam.gov, and also be eligible to process invoices through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Register via the WAWF website https://wawf.eb.mil.
