The Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, intends to procure one (1) Balancing Machine Instrumentation, Rotor, P/N CAB 925, for the T-45 Aircraft to support Intermediate-Level maintenance of the F405-RR-401 Jet Engine.  The Balancing Machine Instrumentation, Rotor is needed to retrofit the existing balancing machine with the updated digital electronic balancing instrumentation.

This will be a sole source procurement with Schenck Corporation (CAGE 30218).  Schenck us the sole designer and developer of the balancing machine instrumentation, rotor.  The Government does not own the required technical data or software.  This acquisition is being pursued under authority of 41 U.S.C 1901, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.    Unless stated herein, no additional information is available.  Requests for the same will be disregarded.  A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
