This combined synopsis/solitication is solicit a quote from a single source for the one-time purchase of replacement MPN-14K Precision Approach Radar Displays to be delivered to Tinker Air Force Base, OK. The radar displays are considered to be commercial items. The source is ARC Technology Solutions, LLC.
The Government has limited competition to a single source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1) as ARC has completed extensive analysis on the current PAR displays in order to support the replacement displays. Sourcing the replacement displys with another vendor would result in an unacceptable duplication of costs and delays with the production of the replacement units.
The Government previously notified industry of its intent to negotiate with a single source on 24 August 2019 via Special Notice 7QSDD-Y6-19-ASRMON.
