This notice is for informational purposes only. The 23rd Contracting Squadron intends to award a Brand Name purchase order of Motorola's KMF Astro 25 system for the purpose of upgrading our Key Management Facility (KMF) in order to efficiently manage and disseminate crypto keys to all radios simultaneously via Over-The-Air-Rekeying (OTAR) and Over-The-Air-Programming (OTAP). The integrated voice and data solution must seamlessly integrate with Moody's existing Astro 25 infrastructure, to include hardware and software. The only solution fully capable of seamless integration is Motorola's KMF server. The justification for restricting competition is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). A post-award notice will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) identifying the 23d Contracting Squadron's Justification and Approval of this brand name procurement of Motorola's KMF Astro 25 system.
