This is a Sources Sought Notice for information only.  This is NOT a Request for Quote / Proposal nor is this an announcement or issuance of a solicitation.

This is to identify sources who can provide Motorola brand equipment.  Companies who are interested should respond electronically to TSgt Robert Hunter via email at [email protected] or SSgt Eric Punjabi at [email protected] by 3:00pm JST (1:00am EST) on 15 July 2015.  Include the following information:

1. Company name and address
2. Physical location of company
3. Point of contact with name, title, phone, fax, and email
4. CAGE code and DUNS number

Description:  The contractor shall provide (20) Motorola APX 6000 Portable Radios (P25 Trunking radios) and its compatible accessories, (5) IMPRES SUC adapters, (15) IMPRESMUC adapters (pk of 6 inserts), (60) Batt Imp FM R LI Ion 2300M 2350T BLK, (18) 3M Peltor MT Series 2-Way COMM HDST MT7H79A-C5063-34 Headband.  The APX 6000 radios are capable of providing: AES-256 Level 3 encryption, Over the Air Rekeying (OTAR) of the encryption key (without the need for new J2LMR infrastructure), Over the Air Programming (OTAP) (without additional J2LMR technical resources and software), SMARTZONE/NET, narrowband/wideband channel spacing and the software are programmable, P25 Based Radio Authentication.  The APX6000 radios must meet all requirements on the existing Joint Japan Land Mobile Radio (J2LMR) trunk radio system.  Radios must have JF12 with Host Nation Approval (HNA) for use in Japan.
