1. FA483021QS006 on Beta.sam.gov: Attached Q_A Packing & Crating

Purchase of packing, containerization, and local drayage of DPM personal property shipment service: a method of shipping personal property for government employees (military and civilian) in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).  These are usually small poundage shipments (less than 1,000 lbs) but can be shipments up to 18,000 lbs.
 
Services shall include pre-move survey, servicing of appliances, disassembly of furniture, if required, packaging, inventorying, tagging, wrapping, padding, packing and bracing household goods in shipping containers at owner's residence, or at contractor's facility when ordered by the contracting officer, properly securing and sealing for shipment, weighing, obliterating old markings, marking, strapping, and drayage of containers interstate and intrastate.
 
This contract will be a single award IDIQ with an effective period of five (5) years following the effective date of award.  This contract is handled through JPPSO, and funding is associated on each travel order cut against the IDIQ as a task order.  There is no localized funding or invoicing that takes place against this contract.
