Montrose County is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms and/or qualified individual consultants to develop a comprehensive Zoning Resolution update for Montrose County. Montrose County adopted Zoning Regulations in 1972 with an emphasis on Agricultural uses and activates. The resolution has been amended numerous times since the original adoption, but has never been reviewed or amended in its entirety. The Montrose County Planning and Development Department houses the Planning and Building Divisions. The Planning Division consists of two professional planners and one planning technician. The Planning and Development Director will serve as the project manager. The project is to be complete no later than June 21, 2021. Please see bid package for additional details.
