The requirement is for three (3) monitors, physiologic, vital signs [device code: 25-209] for Naval Medical Center San Diego. The units shall be capable of automated real-time measuring and display of patient vital signs in a magnetic resonance imaging environment (MRI-compatible) with a Gauss rating of at least 10,000. The units shall be capable of monitoring at least the following patient vital signs: heart rate, electrocardiography (ECG), non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), invasive blood pressure (IBP), oxygen saturation (SpO2), respiration, end-tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2), and temperature. The units shall be capable of anesthetic agent monitoring. The units shall be capable of residing near the patient during an MRI exam, and communicate wirelessly to a remote monitor in the MRI control room. The units shall have a touch screen interface. The units shall have alarm displays which are visible from all sides. The units shall be suitable for use during patient transport. The units shall each include a roll-stand and strip chart printer. The requirement also includes two (2) remote monitors which reside in the MRI control room and are capable of receiving wireless communication from the monitor units during an MRI exam. The power requirements are 120V, 60Hz.
